Moutoullas (Greek: Μουτουλλάς) is a mountain village in Cyprus, located at an altitude of 900m (2500 ft), 15km from Morfou Bay in the Marathasa Valley of the Troodos mountain range. On entering the village, next to the focal point which is the new church built in 1935, one can see the old village church, the 13th century chapel of Panayia tou Moutoulla is one of the earliest dated examples of the steep-pitched wooden roof type with frescoes built around 1280 and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The village is well known for its mineral water known for its therapeutic properties. Also the village of moutoullas is very famous for its fruits (especially apples and cherries) and its cheerful and friendly people.Loukoumades (traditional Cypriot dessert) The best of Cyprus are made and served at CAFE KYRIAKIDES located on the main road at the centre of the village.
